We are currently recruiting for two new roles! We are seeking a Senior Research and Policy Officer, and a Project Research & Campaign Worker for the Migrant Justice Project to join our current team of six. Details are below:
Senior Research and Policy Officer
The Senior Research & Policy Officer will be responsible for managing CAJ’s projects, research and communications, developing them to advance CAJ’s strategic objectives and policies. The post-holder will work with the Director and deputise in their absence. The post-holder will line manage CAJ project staff and ensure CAJ produces high quality research and policy in its key areas of work.
This is a permanent post, subject to ongoing funding. Pay scale is NJC points 40-43, currently £46,549 to £49,590 per annum. Interviews for shortlisted candidates for this post are scheduled to take place on 29 November 2023.
Project Research & Campaign Worker
The Project Research & Campaign Worker will work on a Migrant Justice Project, a joint partnership project between CAJ and the North West Migrants forum (NWMF) a well-established migrant-led organisation based in the north west of Northern Ireland. The project focuses on joint research and campaigning work on NI-specific racial injustice issues relating to the Common Travel Area, the ‘hostile environment’, and racist intimidation.
This is a three year project post funded by Esmée Fairbairn. The pay scale is NJC points 25-27 £32,020 to £33,820 per annum. Interviews for shortlisted candidates for this post are scheduled to take place on 27 November 2023.
