In June 2023, the Equality Coalition, Barnardo’s NI, and NIAPN jointly organised a seminar in Stormont on ‘Progressing an anti-poverty strategy for Northern Ireland’. Following this two members of the Coalition – Robyn Scott, CAJ, and John Patrick Clayton, UNISON – were interviewed on NVTV’s ‘The Round-Up’ to discuss why an anti-poverty strategy must be day one priority for the next NI Executive.
