Inside this issue: We have produced this special edition of Just News to commemorate Brian Gormally’s time as Director of CAJ from September 2011 until March 2023. The issue begins with ‘A hymn to human rights’ written by Brian, which explains the importance of taking a human rights approach to policy. Colleagues of Brian, past and present, have also contributed articles reflecting on Brian’s time as Director and the impact he has had on them as individuals, CAJ as an organisation, and the rights sector as whole.
