Our latest briefing on the Northern Ireland Troubles (Legacy and Reconciliation) Bill provides an assessment of the government amendments proposed at House of Lords ‘report stage’, which were finally published on the 8 June 2023. CAJ believes that these amendments do not adequately address any of the areas of concern regarding incompatibility with European Convention of Human Rights (ECHR).
